Karli Hobby

General Manager & Funeral Director and Embalmer

Karli was born in Lake City, Florida, where she developed strong roots in family and community. She graduated from Columbia High School in 2019 and went on to pursue her passion for serving others by earning her Associate of Science degree in Mortuary Science from Ogeechee Technical College in 2023.

Karli’s journey in the funeral profession began at just 16 years old, when she started working as a secretary at her aunt’s funeral home in Lake City. Through those early experiences, she discovered a deep calling to support families during some of life’s most difficult moments. Over time, that calling grew into a true passion for providing compassionate care and meaningful service.

In August of 2025, Karli relocated to Arcadia, Florida, where she continues to build her career in the funeral profession. She is dedicated to guiding families with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail, ensuring that each service reflects the life and legacy of their loved one.

Outside of her professional life, Karli enjoys spending quality time with her husband, their two dogs, and her family. She also loves reading, being outdoors, and embracing life’s simple moments.

Fred still enjoys fishing, but his true hobby, when he finds the time is stargazing as an amateur astrologist. He has been married for 31 years, has two adult daughters, one who lives in Naples and the other in Port Charlotte, and a loyal dog, Hunter who is always hungry.
