Ronald Wayne Priest, 66, of Wauchula, FL passed away on October 16th, 2020. He was born on April 22nd, 1954 in Wauchula and was a lifetime member of the community and long-time member of New Vision Worship Center.

Ronald worked for many years as a long-haul truck driver for Revel Crate until he became disabled. Always aspiring to be an example, he also earned his high school diploma late in life in 1991, so as to encourage his daughter to complete her education. In his free time, he loved to play softball, spend time out on the water fishing, and spending time with his beloved family. He will be remembered by those who knew him as honest, decent, and loyal, and a trustworthy friend to anyone who needed one.

Ronald is survived by his sister, Brenda Wills of Atlantic Beach, FL; his brothers, Jerry Priest of Wauchula, FL, Clyde Priest of Davenport, FL, and Eddie Priest of Alabama; as well as 12 nieces and nephews and 30 great-nieces and -nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Charitie Marie Priest Woods; his mother, Cora Louise Priest Thompson; his father, Charles Monroe Priest; his brothers, Carl Eugene and David Lamar Priest; and his sister, Sandra Joyce Tallant.

A celebration of life service will be on Saturday, November 21st, 2020 at New Vision Worship Center in Zolfo Springs, FL. Family will start receiving guests at 10 AM and the service will begin at 11 AM. The family would also like to respectfully ask anyone who plans to attend to wear a mask.
