John Robert Wall, age 63 of Arcadia Florida passed away September 2, 2015 at his home. John was a retired firefighter with the Sarasota-Bradenton Airport where he worked for 27 years and was also a member of the firefighters union. John was currently employed as a Lineman with Brighthouse Network. He was an active member with All Florida Championship Rodeo and the Arcadia Rodeo Shootout Gang. John was also an Eagle Scout and part of the Sunnyland Boyscout Council and an avid football fan. Survivors are his beloved wife Margaret Louise of Arcadia, Florida his mother Elida Marie Wall of Arcadia Florida. Father of Christopher John Wall and his wife Julie of Micanoy, Florida, Cheryl Ann Mathews and her husband Keith of Perry, Florida, Brandy Marie Granger and her husband Staff Sgt. Spencer Granger of Abilene, Texas. Stepfather of Christopher Micah Riley of Sussex, England, Penny Ann Votaw and her husband Sgt. Major Travis Votaw of Fort Myer, Virginia and Jodie Lynn Murray of Arcadia, Florida. One brother, James Allen Wall and his wife Tina of Edgewood, Maryland. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm on Saturday September 5, 2015 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 50 North Hillsborough Avenue Arcadia, Florida. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Arcadia Rodeo grounds on Saturday September 12, 2015 from 4-7pm.( Please bring a covered dish) Interment private.
