Roger Wayne Powers Sr. of Arcadia, Florida age 67 passed away Thursday December 31, 2015 in Sarasota Florida. He was born December 23, 1948 in Castlewood, Virginia and was a resident of Arcadia Florida for the last 33 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge for the last 36 years and enjoyed golfing and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife Wanda(Moore) Powers of Arcadia Florida. Three sons;Roger Powers of Cape Coral Florida, Steven Powers of Matlacha, FL, George and his wife Lauren Rachel of Jackson, NC Three daughters; Terri Bethel also of Jackson,NC Kim Rachel of Arcadia, FL and Christy and her husband Jason Ross of Lake Placid, FL. Brother Brady Powers of Cape Canaveral FL and Brenda Ward of Joliette, IL. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation and Funeral services will be held on Monday January 4, 2016 from 2-4pm with services at 3:30PM at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 50 North Hillsborough Avenue Arcadia, Florida. Interment private.
