Obituary

Mrs. Juanita Sprunger 85, passed away in Charlotte county on Friday, April 20, 2018. She was born in Limestone, Florida on May 26th, 1932 to the late William and Lillie Harrison.

She is survived by her sons: Toby Sprunger of Punta Gorda, FL, Larry Sprunger of Punta Gorda, FL; daughters: Linda (Bill) Southwell of Arcadia, FL, Becky (William) Southwell of Mississippi, Peggy Stanford of Fort Pierce, FL, Linda(Tom) Larson of Texas; brothers: Donald and Bobby Harrison; 14 grandchildren,  17 great grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Juanita is preceded in death by Weldon Sprunger her best friend and loving husband of 31 years, her parents: William Henry and Lillie Daisy Harrison, and son: Less Chezem.

She has been a part of the community for 63 years and drove the school bus for over 30 years. She was a part of the neighborhood watch and would take daily walks to clean the neighborhood of litter.

She would make sure that her bird baths always had fresh water so she could see her little Cardinal friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 11:00 – 1:00 P.m. at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home at 50 N. Hillsborough Ave Arcadia, FL 34266. The burial will take place following the service at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
