William Garwood Hamilton, age 64 passed away Sunday morning, April 23, 2023, in Punta Gorda, Florida. He was born April 3, 1959, in Hamilton Ohio to the late Robert and Patricia Cummins Hamilton. He moved to Arcadia 5 years ago from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was a truck driver.

William enjoyed most any kind of sport, was in the Dart League in Punta Gorda and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, he enjoyed his family and watching old westerns.

He is survived by his son William Hamilton of Arcadia, Florida, Daughter Jenny Hamilton of Arcadia, Florida, brother Robert Hamilton of Leesburg, Florida, and 6 grandchildren Alyssa, Nathan, Zachery, Niko, William and Savera.

William is preceded in death by his parents, wife Rebecca and sister Lori McCollock.

There will be a service on May 5, 2023, at 5pm at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home Chapel in Arcadia, Florida.
