William Robert "Bob" Gibson, 74 years old, residing in Williston, Florida, was called home to our Lord and Savior on November 8, 2023.

Bob was born on February 9, 1949, in Jeffersonville, Indiana to James and June Gibson. After Bob attended Riverview High School, he went on to serve in the United States Army. After he finished his service, he resettled in Sarasota, Florida and became a business entrepreneur, having built a number of successful custom cabinet shops that served several major contractors in the area.

Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf, having shared his passion of these hobbies with his three sons and grandsons. He also had a passion for baseball and softball, having coached many youth league teams with his children. He was a devoted and dedicated family man, always enjoying family functions and always mindful of his family and friends.

Bob is predeceased by his parents, James Gibson and June Gibson (LaMaster) his son, Donald W Gibson, his brothers, Ralph Gibson, Jimmy Gibson and his sister, Dorothy DiMascio.

Bob is survived by his life partner, Tia Stockton, his brother, David Gibson, and his children: Michael Gibson (Jerri Dawn) Jackie White, Cindy Carpenter (Don) and Joe Gibson (Hope) along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
