William George Segur

(February 9, 1944 – March 17, 2022)

William George Segur passed away on March 17, 2022.  He was born in Defiance, Ohio on February 9, 1944 and graduated from Fairview High School.  He had lived in this area for five years. His friends and family remember his as Bill.  He was a retired Truck Driver and his handles were, "Highway Engineer" and "Man in Black!"

Bill was of Lutheran faith as well as being an active member of the Bradenton American Legion, Eagles of Defiance, Ohio and Bradenton, Florida and AMVETS and Elks Club of Arcadia, Florida.

His accomplishments include Trucking and being a pilot as well as Realtor Broker. He loved flying and fishing and riding his Harley. And he enjoyed living in Costa Rica.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Ann and his children by his first wife Vivian, Mechelle Seals of Mobile, Alabama and Michael Segur of Bradenton, Florida. Bill also has four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Helen Segur and his first wife Vivian. Services and interment to be held at a later date in Ohio.
