William F. Buschner, age 57 of Arcadia, passed away January 21, 2011 at his home. William was born June 30, 1953 in Long Island, New York. He moved to Arcadia in 1988 coming from Bradenton. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church; he served with the Boy Scouts for 50 years and worked with the Arcadia Rodeo Association for 10 years. He was preceded by his mother Barbara Briggs. He is survived by his wife Joy; two sons Bill and Rick; six grandchildren Katie, Shannon, Will, Haruki, Kengo and Sakura; his father William O. Buschner; two brothers Edward and Dean and three sisters Judy, Dawn and Sandra. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 in the Fellowship Hall of the Trinity United Methodist Church at 6 PM.
