Mr. William "Bill" A. Stakey of Arcadia, Florida passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. He was born on October 23, 1930, in New Britain, Connecticut.

Bill worked as a Bottle Plant Operations Manager, in the Plastic Bottles Manufacturing Industry.

He had lived in the area for twenty years and came to this area from Pembroke Pines, Florida.

He attended the Pine Creek Chapel and loved golfing, boating, small engine repair, along with yard and gardening activities.

He was a veteran of the US Air Force.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Willis Stakey of Arcadia, and a brother Kenneth Stakey of Southington, Connecticut. Also, his children, Jim (Penny) Stakey of Southington, Connecticut, David Stakey and partner Gloria of Southington, Connecticut, Greg Stakey, Geina (Donald) Greene of Jacksonville, Texas and Kim Casale of Arcadia, Florida and Ronald (Crystal Gordon) Jones of Hollywood, Florida. His grandchildren are Josh, Shanan, Mark, Anthony, Nicky, Brittni, Brittany, Donald Jr., Morgan, Taylor, Regina, Dominic, Daniel and Justin.  He also had several great grandchildren plus Great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Lydia Malcien Stakey and a daughter, Cynthia M. Stakey.
