Wanda Jean Rodgers age 76 passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.  She was born in Ft. Myers, Florida and was a lifelong resident of Wauchula, Florida.

She was a loving wife and a great homemaker who loved cooking and caring for friends and family. She was a great fan of Gospel & Christmas Music, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with family & friends.  She loved her church and was a member of the New Beginnings Worship Center in Bowling Green, Florida.  She was a "music loving junk food junkie", and a" hot mess that we miss immensely".

She is survived by her 2 ^nd loving husband, Robyn Gerald Rodgers (Jerry) and her daughter Ocie Ann Edwards of Wauchula, three brothers David Smith (Susan) of Avon Park, Phillip Smith of Wauchula and Ernie Bryant (Denise) of Avon Park, Sisters Lorine Roman (Gary) of Wauchula and Lisa Prestridge (Jr) of Zolfo Springs. And her sister-in-law Patty Smith of Wauchula.  Her caregivers and extended family, Sister-in-law Maryland Staton, Nieces Lesa Grimsley and Selina Price.  And numerous nieces & nephews.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Helen (Williams) Smith, brother Larry "Boy" Smith, sisters Betty Lou Ward and Shirley Tillman and one sister-in-law Sandra Smith. And her 1 ^st Husband Herschel Edwards.

Private Family Visitation will be February 17, 2022 at 10:00 - 11:00 am, Service will be 11:00 am at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home  205 North 9 ^th Ave. Wauchula Fl 33873, Burial to follow at the Wauchula Cemetery.
