Vivian Mothershed Trumpower, age 86, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in Lake Placid, Fl. Vivian was born June 8, 1936, in Dowling Park, Florida. She was a graduate of DeSoto County High School, Class of 1954. She was a supervisor for the department of Motor Vehicles, in the Driver's License Division. She also worked for Winn-Dixie and McCrory's Department store as a clerk for several years. Vivian never met a stranger. She loved to visit with her friends and family, enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and crocheting. She was of the Baptist faith and would attend Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church until her health would not allow her to go. Vivian will be sorely missed by her many friends.

Vivian is survived by her beloved children, three sons, George (Deborah) Mothershed, Orlando, Fl, Darrell (Deborah) Mothershed, Ga, Delma  Mothershed, Nocatee, Fl. Three daughter's Deborah Webb, Nocatee, Fl, Katherine (Kavis) Murray, Oklahoma and Vivian (Wilson) Whidden, Arcadia, Fl. She leaves numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren to mourn her passing.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents George Ammons and Seanie Stewart and husband Charles Martin Mothershed Sr., and son Charles Martin Mothershed Jr., and sisters, Lois Wilson, Maxine O'Neal, and Alma Brim.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 10:00am, Friday March 31, 2023 at Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church in the Owens Community with Reverend Dana Sprugeon officiating. Interment at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at a later date where she will be reunited with her beloved husband Charles Martin Mothershed Sr., who preceded her in 1994.
