Vivian Estelle Tucker Johnson Layport was born to William "Duke" Tucker and Frances Messer Tucker on September 1, 1930, in Pine Level, Florida. She went to visit our Lord on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Ms. Vivian received her schooling from the DeSoto County School System graduating from DeSoto Senior High School in 1949.

Ms. Vivian retired from G. Pierce Wood Hospital and after her retirement spent her precious time volunteering and serving others while she was able. She volunteered at Sandy Baptist Church as the Treasurer – too many years to remember. She also drove for Meals on Wheels in Arcadia and served at the Senior Center in every capacity that was needed.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, and other family members and friends as well as her husbands, Wilburn "Jimmy" Johnson and Floyd Stanley Layport Sr.

Vivian is survived by her devoted daughter, Frances Elaine Johnson and enduring son Randy M. Johnson and wife Rose. Her grandchildren are Joshua M. Johnson, Randy M. Johnson, Krystin M. Matos, Kaitlin R, Johnson, and Kelsey G. DeAnda. There are also 6 Great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The North Hillsborough Baptist Church, 253 N. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, Florida 34266.

The Memorial Service will be on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, Florida 34266 Pastor Ellis Cross will be officiating.
