Vanessa Guerrero, age 21, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 in Bradenton, FL. She was born July 2, 1988 in Sulphur Springs, TX., moving to Arcadia, FL. 20 years ago with her family. Vanessa was a wonderful daughter, sister and friend and all who knew her loved her. She was an active member of St Paul s Catholic Church, Arcadia. Vanessa taught Sunday school at St. Paul s, sang in the choir and was a substitute teacher. She as a very active person, she was in her third year of college and also worked at La Esperanza Restaurant as a waitress. Her hobbies included working out at the gym, soccer, dance and singing. She is survived by her loving parents, Pedro and Celia Guerrero of Arcadia, FL, one sister, Salina Guerrero of Arcadia, FL., maternal grandparents, Horasio Ogornio and Carolina Valencia. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00PM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 4:00PM at St. Paul s Catholic Church, 1208 E. Oak St., Arcadia, FL.
