Trisha Lin Butler, age 37, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 in Port Charlotte, FL. after a prolonged illness. She was born June 25, 1974 in Haywood, CA. She moved to Arcadia, FL. as a baby with her family and remained living between Desoto and Charlotte Counties. Trisha learned at a young age to appreciate the value of life and to live her life to the fullest. She loved her family and friends very much; she will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by one daughter; Payton Lindsay Land of Punta Gorda, FL, her parents Tom and step mom (Annie) Butler of Ashford, AL and Tina L. Martin Meyers of Smithville, TN, one brother Thomas(Tommy) Everett (Ronda) Butler of Arcadia, FL, maternal grandmother Jenny Martin of Arcadia, one niece Rylee C. Butler of Arcadia, FL, three uncles; Bill(Colleen) Martin, Frankie Martin and Brian (Amanda) Martin, one aunt ; Cheryl ( Tommy) Stewart, cousins Kelly Markey, Sheri Bohannan, Tim Martin, Michael Martin, Andrea Palmer, Ashley Kilmon and Christopher Stewart. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Everett Martin. A visitation will be held Friday, December 16, 2011 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 1:30PM at the chapel with Brother Ronald Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
