Tommy Dean Criswell of Lake Wales, FL passed away on August 10, 2026. He was born in Midland City, Alabama on July 9,1950, to Chester Criswell and Claudia Ussery.

He graduated in 1970 from Hardee High School. He was an Electrician and had been employed by Mosaic.

He was a member of Frostproof Baptist Church. He enjoyed Golfing, Motorcycles, Chess and spending time with his family.

He will be remembered as a dedicated Family man, very loving, reliable, forgiving and very handsome.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Chester and Claudia Criswell, sister Marie Joiner, and brothers Tim Criswell and Jerry Criswell.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Criswell, children Priscilla (Craig) Walker of Mulberry, FL, Naomi (Travis) Brandon of Sparta, TN and Robbie (Shannon) Criswell, Savannah, GA. Also, his sisters; Audrey Bowen and Janice Bass, and brother Junior Criswell. There are also 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. His grandchildren are Corben Miller, Deanna McCarthy, Julie McCarthy, Jazzmin Walker and Caleb Brandon. The Great Grandchild is Tommie Gonzalez-Miller.

The Visitation will be from 10:00AM – 11:00AM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home at 205 N. 9th Avenue, Wauchula, FL 33873. The Service will follow at 11:00AM with Rev. Len Ward officiating. There will be a private Burial at Paynes Creek Cemetery in Bowling Green, FL.
