Tommie Lou Seymour, 83 of Arcadia died June 14, 2011 in Sarasota, Florida. She was born October 26, 1927 in Randolph County, Alabama and moved to Arcadia 52 years ago coming from Lagrange, GA. Tommie worked for Mercer s Clothing Store in Arcadia for 25 years. She enjoyed playing tennis, yard work, family gatherings, bingo, and shopping at Goodwill second hand stores. Tommie was a member of First Baptist Church of Arcadia. She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Seymour in 2004. Tommie is survived by one son Tim (Cindy) Seymour of Tallahassee, FL; one daughter Phyllis (Harold) Wilson of Roanoke, AL; six grand children; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, June 16, 2011 with Visitation beginning at 1 pm at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N Hillsborough Ave in Arcadia with Rev. Richard Englert officiating. Graveside Committal Services will be 2 pm Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Randolph Memory Gardens in Roanoke, AL.
