Obituary

Timothy Aaron Hartman (LDW), age 61, passed away January 21, 2009. He was born November 9, 1947 in Syracuse, NY. Tim served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He became a Mason in Syracuse, NY. LDW and Barbara were married at Post 60 of Arcadia, Fl. on February 12, 2005. Tim had worked for Desoto County in the Parks and Recreation Dept. LDW was a very active member of the VFW, The Vietnam Brotherhood and the Am Vets. He was currently the adjutant of the VFW Post 4353 of St. James, Fl. LDW had served as a Past Commander of Echo Company of the Vietnam Brotherhood and Past 1st Vice Commander of Am Vets, Post 60. Tim was of the Protestant Faith. He is survived by his wife Barbara A. Wilson Hartman of Bokeelia, Fl., son Aaron Hartman of Pulaski, NY, a daughter Jennifer Hartman of Norwood, NY, two brothers, Michael (Katherine) Hartman of Syracuse, NY; Murray (Jacqueline) Hartman of Sebastian, Fl. one sister, Mary (Charles) Braun of Marietta, NY; one grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his parents Aaron and Marjorie Murray Hartman. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM today, January 24, 2009 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Bunker #2, Arcadia, Fl. In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made in Tim s name to The Vietnam Brotherhood, 2846 SW Hwy 17, Arcadia, Fl. 34266.
