Theda "Joyce" Buchanan, 84 passed away Saturday, February 15th, 2025 at 9:43am in the comfort of her home. She was born and raised in Arcadia, Florida. She is the daughter of Maebelle and William "Bill" Albritton.

She enjoyed cooking for her family, crocheting, shopping with her girls, making crafts, and spending her Sundays at New Day Baptist Church praising the good Lord above.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Clyde Fredrick Buchanan, her son Lewis Buchanan, brother Orain (Laverne) Albritton, two grandchildren Robert (Barbara) Buchanan and Lauren "Jamie" Buchanan, and two great grandchildren Wyatt and Kenzie Buchanan, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents William "Bill" Albritton, and Maebelle Albritton, one sister Serena Rentz, and one brother Jerry Albritton. Tessie Ray Buchanan and Clyde Buchanan Jr.

A visitation will be held at Ponger Kays Grady Funeral Home, Saturday February 22, 2025 from 1-2pm. Funeral will follow at 2pm. The burial will be at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
