Obituary

Terry Seth Rayborn, age 66, of Winter Garden, FL and formerly of Arcadia, FL, passed away February 25, 2011 in Tampa, Fl. Terry was born July 9, 1944 in Columbia, MS, moving to Arcadia with his family in 1959 from Gulf Port, MS.. He moved to Winter Garden in 1974. Terry graduated from DeSoto County High School, Class of 1962, the University of Fl where he received his Bachelors Degree, and Rollins College, Winter Park, FL where he received his Masters Degree. Terry worked for Disney World, Orlando, FL in the Human Resources Department. He was a member of the Winter Garden Rotary Club, where he served as Treasurer. He also served as treasurer for the West Orange Scholarships Foundation Board. He was a member of the University of Florida Alumni Association and very proud of his Florida Gators. Terry was a member of the Oakland Presbyterian Church, Oakland, FL. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and cooking. Terry is survived by his daughter Melissa Rayborn , Winter Garden, FL, a brother; Grayson Hanks (Jane) Rayborn, Jr, Hattiesburg, MS . He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary in 1996, and his parents, Grayson H. and Georgia Rayborn Sr. Graveside services and burial will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Arcadia, FL. A visitation is scheduled from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. at the cemetery. A Celebration of Life Ceremony for Terry will be conducted at 4:00PM Tuesday at the Oakland Presbyterian Church, Oakland, FL. Family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 4:00PM. at the church.
