Susan Sams, age 74, was called Home by the Lord on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. She was born on November 5,1949 in Colson, KY to Dennis and Minnie Lee Niece.

Susan was so kind, loving, and generous to everyone she met. She always had an open heart and door for anyone in need and will be greatly missed. Susan will always be remembered lovingly by her family and friends.

Susan was the widow of David Paul Sams Sr. She was also preceded in death by her parents and all 4 of her siblings.

Susan is survived by her four children: Beverly Rife, (Crawfordsville, IN), Samuel Carter Jr., Jeffrey Carter, and Amanda Sams, (all of Arcadia, FL)
also leaving behind her 12 cherished grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Beverly (Craig her "favorite son-in-law") Rife and their family; Cory Rife and his children, Cayden and Brynlee, Samuel (Cynthia) Carter Jr. and their family; Kala (Adam) Burdo and their children, Lena and Jaime Mitchell. Brianne Carter (Manchester, NH), Samuel Carter, Steven (Vanessa) King and their children, Julien,
Christopher, and Carmen. Maranda Webb (Michael Campbell) and their children, Levi and Roland.
