Sophia Alamia Garcia, age 39 was called home early to be with "Our Lord" on January 14, 2024, in Orlando, Florida. She was born March 9, 1984, to Santos and Margaret Almia in Wauchula, Florida. Sophia was a resident of Sebring, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Guadalupe Garcia and her parents Santos and Margaret Alamia, two sisters Elida and Josie Alamia and one brother Samuel D. Alamia. She leaves to cherish her memory five son's Tommy Garcia of Sebring, Florida, Ethan and Fiancé Michelle Guijon of Wauchula, Florida, David, Joseph and Fabian Garcia of Sebring, Florida, and four grandchildren Joshua, Jose Angelo, Alayna and Timothy Garcia of Wauchula, Florida. Three Brothers Santos Alamia Jr., Santiago Alamia, and Saul Alamia from Hardee County, three Sisters Sylvia Martinez and Sandra Escobedo from Hardee County, and Dianna Murillo from Sebring, Florida.

Sophia was a loving Mother loved to bake and a wonderful cook loved having movie night with her children. Sophia will always be remembered.

Funeral Services will be on January 20, 2024, at 11:00am at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 205 N. 9th Avenue Wauchula, Florida. And burial will follow at Wauchula City Cemetery.
