Sherrie Hill Turner, 53, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, Friday morning, May 5, 2023. Born on March 24, 1970, in Orlando, Florida, she was the daughter of Jerry and Christine Hill. She was an exceptional, nurturing and selfless woman who taught by example.

Sherrie was raised in Arcadia, Florida. She loved spending her early days with her dad in the Palace Barber Shop. Her dad taught her everything there was to know about running it. It was there that she started her love of bookkeeping and making sure that everything was always taken care of. Her greatest blessing was loving her family and serving others. She made every birthday, holiday and gathering so special. She was the perfect example of a Christian woman with a special gift of compassion for others.

Sherrie is survived by her parents, Jerry and Christine Hill; Brother, Warren Scott Hill; her loving husband of 30 years, Mac Turner; Son, Bailey (Shelby) Turner; Daughter, Katie Turner (Landon Albritton); Niece/"Daughter", Jamie (Scott) Adkins; and many other family members as well as nieces and nephews that were honored to call her "She-She".

Sherrie's viewing will be on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, at Ponger-Kays Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, FL.

Services will be held at the Arcadia Church of the Nazarene, where Sherrie was a lifetime member and a part of the Church Board, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 11:00am; followed by processional to burial at Joshua Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arcadia Church of the Nazarene (132 West Gibson, Arcadia Fl. 34266); or to Tidewell Hospice of Arcadia (919 North Arcadia Avenue, Arcadia, Fl. 34266).
