Sarah Margaret Pipkin Fraley, age 79, passed away February 17, 2009 in Sarasota. She was born April 16, 1929 in Tifton, GA moving to Arcadia when she was six years old from there. Sarah and her late spouse John spent much of their time traveling the world together. She enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, gardening in the yard and was an avid lover of animals. Sarah was a member of the Church of Nazarene, Arcadia, Fl. She is survived by two sons, John Fraley of Arcadia, Fl. and Chris (Sherri) Fraley of Hooksett, NH, one daughter Karen (Jim) DeHays of Fort Myers, Fl., one sister Joan (Nick) DiLorenzo of Arcadia, FL., six grandchildren of which Heather Lother was grandmothers care giver for the past few years and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband John Rodgers Fraley, parents Rodman L. and Nancy Rose Pipkin, two sisters Reba Gomez and Lester Mae Johnson Memorial Services and a celebration of Sarah s Life will be Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 1:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N.
