Sandra L. Woppman Connors, age 74 passed away on April 18, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 2, 1950 in Sarasota, FL. to the late Walter Brown and Thelma L. Daughtrey. Sandra loved this community and was a lifelong resident.

Sandra was a very loving, giving and gracious mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her five children as a single mother, while completing nursing school and then maintaining a full time career in the healthcare industry. Sandra was always caring for her family and others, and anyone who knew her, knew her door was always open. She definitely was the matriarch of our family and will be greatly missed. She also loved her church family, was an active member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses here in Arcadia. Sandra enjoyed singing, painting, growing beautiful flowers and telling a good joke.

She is survived by her six children, Jane (Jeff) Lowe, Samantha (Tre) Kent, Ronald Coleman, Raymond Coleman, Chris (Ronda) Woppman and Ryan Coleman. Two siblings Cecil Daughtrey and Greg Brown, eighteen grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerald Woppman, brothers Allen Brown, David Brown and Joe Brown and her first born son Richard Coleman.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 9:30am to 11:00am at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00am at the chapel with Jim Tredder officiating. Burial will be private at Joshua Creek Cemetery, Arcadia.
