Samuel (Sam) Thomas Holland age 67, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 in Wauchula, Florida, but resided in Arcadia, Fl. He was born on December 27, 1956 in Avon Park, Fl. Sam was an ordained Minister and a faithful member of The New Life Worship Center.
Sam is survived by his wife, Ronda Mroz Holland, five kids; Tommie Lee Jackson, Tyson Bradley Holland, Heather Lynn Casady, Mason Bradley Holland, Jordan (Kaylynn) Leland Holland, eleven grandchildren; Hailey, Nevaeh, Elizabeth, Kyshawn, Chloe, Valarie, Jack, Brooklyn, John, Emma and baby on the way, two siblings, Glenda Lynn Lowe and Benjamin Mack Holland, and thirteen nieces and nephews.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Pinkney Thomas PT Holland, Jr. and Dorothy Elizabeth Holland, his sisters Freida Elaine Salinda and Janet Marie Tew, and one grandchild, Bailey Elizabeth Bruggeman.
Sam was known for his love and passion for the Lord. He sang Gospel music in church and shared the word of God often in hopes to save those who were lost. He also worked at the Faith Community Christian Academy teaching Bible Study. His smile and laugh will always be remembered, as well as his tenderness towards the Lord. He was a husband, father, papa, mentor, and friend to many who will remember him.
A celebration of life will be held in memory of Sam on Saturday May 4, 2024, at 6:00 pm at The New Life Worship Center. All family, friends, and anyone wanting to attend are welcomed.
