Sallie Louise Krell Gentry, 86, of Smithfield, NC ,with her family by her side, went home to be with her Lord on Monday April 11, 2011. She was born in Arcadia, FL and was a long-time resident of Cocoa in Brevard County, FL. She was born on October 26, 1924 and was a DeSoto High School Class of 1943 graduate. She retired from NASA, at the Kennedy Space Center, FL in 1993 after a 35+ year career in Civil Service as part of our nations Space Program. Sallie is survived by her son Gary of Smithfield, NC and his wife Robin. She is also survived by 2 loving sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home in Arcadia on Saturday April 16 at 11:00AM. Visitation will be from 10:00AM 11:00AM.
