Ruth Marie Miller, age 82 passed away on May 22, 2022. Ruth was born in Arcadia on December 16th, 1939 and had been living in the community for 20 years.

Ruth had worked at the Walmart Deli and was of the Baptist faith.  She will be remembered as a most kind and religious person.

She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Whidden of Arcadia, Florida. Also, her brothers and a sister, Jimmy Lyons, Kenneth Lyons, Albert Lyons and Joyce Lyons. She had many nieces and nephews. Included also are 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, Jennifer Garrison, Stephen Tatum, Lewis Whidden, David Whidden, Mea Tatum, Courtney Golddinger, David Bennett, and Austin Golddinger.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, John Kyler Lyons and Meekie E. Rawls.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, Arcadia, Florida, located at 50 N. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, Florida 34266.
