Ruben Meza, age 20, passed away on March 14, 2020 in Arcadia, FL. He was born on March 30, 2001 in Bainbridge, GA and moved to our community eleven years ago.

Ruben was a graduate of DeSoto High School, Class of 2020. After high school he began his career with Air Products and Chemical, Inc., where he was a licensed welder. Ruben will be remembered for his big smile, he loved his family, loved life and was always ready to help other. He ask for so little, but gave so very much.

He is survived by four siblings, Diana Martinez, Alendra Lee Meza, Victor Meza and Ruben Jr. Meza, mother Stephanie Meza and stepfather Omar Valdez, two nephews Martin Morles and Marlyn Morles.

A visitation of family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia.

Funeral services will follow at the chapel at 11:00am, with the burial concluding at Joshua Creek Cemetery, Arcadia.
