DeSoto- Roy G. Lamb, 67, lifelong resident of Arcadia, Florida passed away December 04, 2012 at his residence. Roy was a member of First Baptist Church. Over the years, Roy had been employed by the Dept. of Transportation, Dept. of Agriculture, as a peanut inspector, Arcadia's Central Transformer Company and also worked in lawn care and maintenance. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yardwork and watching Judge Judy and Days of Our Lives. Roy is survived by his wife of twenty eight years, Jonnie Lamb, of Arcadia, Florida, son, Michael (Beverly) Lamb, of Bradenton, Florida, daughters; Kimberly and Katelyn Lamb, of Orlando, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; George and Catherine Morris Lamb. A private burial will be held December 07, 2012.
