Roy Lee Davis, age 63, passed away at the Bay Pines Veterans Hospital, Bay Pines, FL July 30, 2010. Roy Lee was born August 17, 1946 in Sneads, FL moving to Arcadia as a small child. Roy Lee was self employed Roy L Davis Ditching and Hoe Services, LLC, Arcadia, FL. He defended his country by serving in Vietnam as a member of the U. S. Army. Roy Lee loved his wife Linda Wendy Davis, considering her to be more important to him than life itself. Roy Lee was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing and hunting. He and his nephews would spend hours chasing down and catching wild hogs with his trained hog dogs, bringing the hogs back alive. Survivors are his beloved wife Linda Wendy , Davis, Arcadia, FL. daughter: Debbie Davis (Eric) Jones, Colorado Springs, CO, He also leaves two grandsons, Brandon and William Davis both of Arcadia, a sister Annette (Herbert) Carter, Arcadia, FL, two brothers; Jimmy (Janie) Davis, and Lonnie (Linda) Davis both of Arcadia, FL and Lonnie Davis, Jr., a nephew and co worker with Roy L. Davis Ditching and Hoe, LLC., andseveral nieces and nephews. Roy Lee was preceded in death by his parents; Bury and Lily Louise Davis, brothers Lawrence I. Buddy Davis, and Lash L. Davis: sisters Louise McCoy and Betty Jean Meade. Visitation will be conducted from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Friday, August 6, 2010 from Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jerry Atkins officiating. Burial with Military Honors rendered by the U.
