Rose Trevino Zamora passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 in Lakeland, Florida. She was born on August 10, 1945 in Brownsville, Texas to Gregorio Trevino and Rita Mejia.

Rose was a Business Owner of the Acapulco Cafe in Zolfo Springs since 1968. She lived in Zolfo Springs for 70 years. She attended St. Michaels Catholic Church. She was a avid gardener and loved to travel to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Her Family will remember her as a loving wife, dedicated mother, grandmother, faithful friend and devoted catholic.

Rose is survived by her Husband; Raymond Zamora, her children Elizabeth Zamora of Zolfo Springs, Florida, Sara Zamora-Baldridge (Jess) of Avon Park, Florida, Christopher Zamora (Yrma) of Zolfo Springs, Florida, Victoria Zamora of Zolfo Springs, Alexander Castillo (Elena) of Ft Meade, Florida and Nicholas Castillo (Bertha) of Wauchula, Florida, also her sister Linda Castillo of Dillion, South Carolina,12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews from the Zamora and Trevino family who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents Rita and Gregorio Trevino, brothers Gregorio Trevino Jr. (Paula), David Trevino Sr. (Nora) and Robert Trevino.

In lieu of flowers may be made to St, Jude Children Hospital.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Ponger-Kays Grady Funeral Home Chapel 205 N. 9th Ave Wauchula, Fl 33873.

Funeral Mass services will be on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 10:00am at St Michaels Catholic Church 4408 Heard Bridge Road Wauchula, Fl 33873.
