Rose Ann M. Staver, age 93, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010. She was born May 19, 1917 in Walworth Co., WI. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church, Lynchburg, VA. Rose Ann was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be missed by her family. She enjoyed working in her rose garden, crocheting, all kinds of puzzles, baking homemade bread and cooking for her family. When her children were young in the 1960s, she drove a tractor-trailer semi hauling sod to support her family, and at one time she worked three jobs at the same time. She was a hard worker all of her life and full of energy. She is survived by two sons; Roy (Sandy) Staver of Lebanon, MO and Mathew (Anita) Staver of Altamonte Springs, FL.; four daughters; Connie (Maynard) Koltz of Capron, IL, LaVerna Pierce of Port Charlotte, FL, Diana (Buddy) Tomlinson of N. Fort Myers, FL. and Georgia (Charlie) Holmes of Arcadia, FL.; one sister Margie Birk of Woodstock, IL; sixteen grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren and twenty four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Thomas Charles Hoskins and parents Charles and Ida Miller Brunner. Memorial services and celebration of Rose Ann s life will be held privately.
