Ronald William Smith, age 53, of Arcadia, FL. passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010. Ronald was born August 15, 1956 in Lackawanna, New York. He moved to North Port, FL. 28 years ago from PA. He had lived in Arcadia for only a month, moving from No. Port. He was operator of Florida Dirt Source, an excavation company located in Naples, FL. Ronald was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed scuba diving and fishing, and any other water activity. He played softball with the Florida Half Century League and would go golfing on occasions. Ronald was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are his wife Sandra L. Smith, Arcadia, FL. , a son Elijah Eli (Tara) Smith, Arcadia, FL. three step-sons; Joseph Pascucci, Daytona, FL.., Jordan Pascucci, and Thomas Holcomb, both of No. Port, FL., three daughters; Erin Smith and Chelsea Smith both of No. Port, FL. and Kiryee Smith Williams, of Port Charlotte, FL. a brother; Ray (Fran) Smith, Port Charlotte, FL. and two sisters; Bonnie (Abe) Acosta, Arcadia, FL. and Janice (Larry) Steidley, Ok., his parents; Glenn R. and Joan H. Smith of Arcadia, FL. and four grandchildren.
