Ronald James Schmitt 83 passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019. He was born on April 30, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to Melville and Gerda Schmitt.

He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 63 years Lois Schmitt; sons: Ronald (Shari)  of Estero, FL, Martin (Joanne) of Novi, MI, Kevin (Laura) of Farmington Hills, MI; daughter: Gail (Gary) of Flowery Branch, GA; son-in-law: Bill of Howell, MI; 13 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

Ronald is preceded by his daughter: Laurie; brothers: William and Robert.

His favorite past time hobbies are golfing and boating but his greatest love is spending time with his family.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date (July) in Michigan 2019
