Robyn Rodgers, age 79, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, in Wauchula, Florida. He was born in Columbus, Georgia on May 30, 1944, to the late H.R. and Maggie Rodgers. He had lived in this area for twenty-nine years.

He was a member of the New Beginning Church of Bowling Green and was Baptized on March 21, 1995, and received his Able Ministers Diploma on March 24, 1995. He always said finding Wanda was the best thing that ever happened to him.

He enjoyed watching football, races, riding his bike around town, going to Church, telling others about the Lord and most of all spending time with his wife ''Wanda'' He will be remembered as a charming, charismatic, loving, God fearing social butterfly.

He is survived by his children Jerry Rodgers, Daniel Rodgers and Robin Rodgers of Tennessee. Also, his brother Jessie Martin as well his nieces, Selina Price, Lesa Grimsley, Sherry Grimsley, Marybeth Talley and nephew Brandon Price.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Jean Rodgers and his parents, H.R. and Maggie Rodgers and mother-in-law/best friend Maryland Staton.

A graveside service will be Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 10:30 am at Wauchula City Cemetery.
