Robert B.
Renaud
June 4, 1944 – June 28, 2025
Robert Renaud Formerly of Rehoboth, Mass passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, in Arcadia, Florida after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Cumberland, Rhode Island to Felix Renaud and Ann (Costello) Renaud.
Prior to retiring in 2008, he worked as a construction truck driver as was a proud Teamster member. He was a former member of the Elks Club in Bristol, Rhode Island and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aries in Gardner, Mass and Port Charlotte, Florida. Besides the love for his family, he had two passions in life. The first was calf roping. He was a member of the American Professional Rodeo Association (APRA) and the Westborough Mass. Roping Club. For approximately 30 years, he spent summer weekends with family and friends participating in rodeos throughout the New England States. Once he retired from calf roping, he turned to his love of boats. He especially enjoyed taking his boat out and enjoying lazy afternoons on the water in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joseph Renaud of Williston, Florida. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Gail (Holbrook) Renaud of Arcadia, Florida; one daughter, Cheryl Dussourd and her husband, Daniel of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, a brother, John (Jack) Renaud of Warwick, R.I., a brother, Richard (Richie) Renaud and his wife Donna of Box Springs, Georgia, a niece, nephew and cousins.
He will be buried in the Stevens Corner Cemetery, Rehoboth, Massachusetts.
