Robert E. Linge, age 75, and his beloved wife Evelyn D. Rothman Linge, age 73, passed away October 2, 2010 in Ft. Myers, Fl. Robert was born December 13, 1934 and Evelyn born October 3, 1936. Robert and Evelyn were both born in Brooklyn, NY moving to Arcadia in 1977 from Long Island, NY. Robert was a cashier at a convenience store; Evelyn was a people greeter at Wal-Mart. Robert enjoyed old cars, gardening, yard work, and war movies, while Evelyn enjoyed bingo and shopping. They were of the Baptist faith. Robert and Evelyn are survived by three sons; Guy (Lisa) Linge, Texas, Robert (Lucia) Linge Jr., VA, and Randy (Laura) Linge, TN ; two daughters, Debbie (Terry) Savasuk, and Maryjane Nickerson both of Ft. Ogden, FL, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, George and Maybell Crawford Linge. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; Isidore and Rose Goldstein Rothman. A memorial service to celebrate the lives of Robert and Evelyn will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL with Rev.
