Robert C. Davis age 80 of Bowling Green passed away December 08, 2011 at Hardee Manor in Wauchula. He was born July 12, 1931 in Bowling Green and was a life time resident of Hardee County and worked for the school systems until his retirement. Robert served his country in the United States Military in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Grace Parker Davis, three brothers Aldean, Julian, and Archie Davis, two sisters Ernestine Bostik and Margaret Cochran, and his parents, Alvin and Lessie Clark Davis. Robert is survived by two brothers Sidney Davis of Sebring, Merlan Davis of North Port, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2pm 4pm Sunday, December 11, 2011 in the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 404 W Palmetto St in Wauchula. Services will be 11am Monday, December 12, 2011 at Fort Green Baptist Church with Pastor Steve McGaughey officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Green Methodist Cemetery.
