Robert Cottrell, age 61, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 in Arcadia, FL.  Robert was born July 7, 1961 in Erie, PA, moving to Arcadia in 1979.  He enjoyed forging metal, making knives and axes.  He also was a horse trainer.  Robert operated heavy equipment for Sorrels Citrus Company.  He liked to tinker with wood, creating wood carvings and other things. He was of the Methodist faith.

Robert is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Crenshaw, Arcadia, FL, his mother, Linda Cottrell, Arcadia, FL, two brothers, Joseph Cottrell, Arcadia, FL and Daniel (Elizabeth) Cottrell, Port charlotte, FL Robert is preceded in death by his father Denver Cottrell.
