Rita Y. Bousquet, age 85, of Arcadia, Fl. passed away August 26, 2008 in Arcadia. She was born April 7, 1923 in Lowell, MA. and moved to SW Florida 25 years ago. Rita had lived in Arcadia for the past 2 1/2 years, 13 years in Cape Coral and 10 years in Port Charlotte, FL. moving from Brockton, MA. Rita loved her family very much and spending time with them. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She also had numerous friends that she talked with often. She loved her Lord, Jesus Christ and lived and learned from her Bible Studies. Rita was baptized in the Catholic faith; she was a member of Pine Creek Chapel Mennonite Church. She is survived by three sons, Dennis J. (Mary Ann) Clifford of Strafford, N.H., Warren E. (Susan) Wing, Jr. of Sarasota, Fl., Norman Buddy Bousquet of Whitman, MA. three daughters, Nancy I. Richmond of Arcadia, Fl., Wanita L. (Terry) Goodwin of Port Charlotte, Fl. and Patricia R. Wing of Taunton, MA. ,four sister-in-laws Alice & Ellen Frenette both of Brockton, MA, Irene Bousquet of Brockton, MA and June Wade of Middleton, NH, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Henry Bousquet, Jr.and long time companion Jim Barnes. Memorial Services and a celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Pine Creek Chapel Mennonite Church at 2:00PM .located at 1267 Pine Chapel Dr., Arcadia, Fl. with Rev. Jeff Linthicum officiating. Interment to follow at a later date at Veterans National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
