For Our Celestial Son, Rigel Alexander Locke, age 2, returned to the stars on Saturday, June 4, 2011 in Arcadia, FL. He fell to Earth on October 13, 2008 in Port Charlotte, FL. and enjoyed all his life as a resident of Arcadia. Rigel was a very loving, energetic child that never learned how to be sad or how not to live every day to its fullest. He will be missed by his family, friends, and all that had the honor of loving him for the rest of their lives. He is survived by his parents Matthew C. and Ruth L. Ramirez Locke of Arcadia, Fl., two brothers James and Christopher Forrest of Arcadia, Fl., maternal grandparents, Ramon Ramirez of Texas and Lorraine Phillips of Arcadia, Fl. paternal grandparents, Matthew C. Locke, Sr. of Cooper City, FL. and Rhonda K. Mixon of Arcadia, FL.; aunts, uncles, and all that the lives that he was able to touch. May all the ones that knew Rigel have comfort that even though he is no longer with us, he will never be lost. For the ones who know where to look, in the coming days may his star shine brightly and guide us though this difficult time. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 3:00PM until 4:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. Funeral services will follow at 4:00PM at the chapel. Inurnment will be private at a later date at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
