Rebecca Jean Villegas, age 56, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023. She was born on April 6, 1967, to Edmundo Sigala and Armandina Guzman in Lovington, New Mexico.

She had lived in this area for 47 years; she was employed at Sunrise Community. She will be remembered by her family as a wonderful mother and grandmother as well as a caring and beautiful person. She attended the Catholic Church. She loved spending time with the grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmundo Sigala and Armandina Guzman, Rosalinda Augirre, and Frank Sigala.

She is survived by her husband Jose Enrigue Villegas Sr, children, Jose Jr, (Margie) Villegas, Angel Villegas, Jessica Villegas, Mayra Rodriguez, Mireya Lopez and Yesenia Aguirre. Her sister; Maria Fuentes, Kathleen Sigala, Eva Lou Sigala ,and Patricia Sigala. There are also six grandchildren; Jayden Jurado, Jesenia Jurado, Melody Aguirre, Aveline Villegas, Amara Villegas and Linda Villegas , nineteen nieces and nephews that will miss her.

The visitation will be Saturday June 17, 2023, at the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Homes Wauchula 205 9th Ave. from 10:00AM-11:00AM.

The services will follow from 11:00Am in the Chapel and the Burial will follow the service at Wauchula City Cemetery.
