Reba Smith, age 90, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010 in Arcadia. She was born March 29, 1919 in Charlevoix, Mi. She has been a dual resident of Florida for the past 10 years coming south from Hesperia, MI. Reba is a member of the First Christian Church, Arcadia and the River of Life Fellowship, Twin Lake, MI. She was a lover of nature and enjoyed camping with her family. She is survived by her loving husband, together for 42 years, George Pat Smith, one son, Albert (Brenda) Decker of Mesick, MI, three daughters, Alice Maycroft , Florence Leigh both of Muskegon, MI and Jane Bennett of Ravenna, MI, a daughter in law, Nancy Decker of San Diego, CA, three sisters, Frieda Woodring and Waneta Lange both of Ludington, MI and Edna (Walter) Fargo of Fountain, MI, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Reba was preceded in death by three sons, one daughter, and her parents. Memorial Services and a Celebration of Reba s life will be Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 2:00PM at the First Christian Church, 34 El Verano Ave., Arcadia with Pastor Ron York officiating.
