Raul A. Cardenas, age 89, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023, in Arcadia, Florida. He was born January 11, 1934, in Camaguey, Cuba to Juan F. Cardenas and Petrona L. Salazar.

Raul has been in this community 25 years. He owns and operated Cardenas Supermarket. Raul was an amazing spouse, father, grandpa and friend, who loved his work and family, and enjoyed playing dominoes with his family.

Raul will be remembered as a strong man that was always there when you needed him.

He is survived by his wife Adelaida Rodriguez and daughter Adaimys Cardenas (Rigoberto)of Arcadia, Florida, and son Rausy (Yanny) Cardenas. Eight grandchildren Gilbert, Oscar, Naomi, Adacheli, Christian, Ryan, Angel, and Rafael, and three great grandchildren Mia, Alex, and Emma.

Visitation is Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home in Arcadia, at 50 N. Hillsborough Ave. from 4:00-5:00pm.
Funeral Services will follow at 5:00pm at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home.
