Ralph C. Ricker Jr. of Arcadia, Florida, peacefully passed away in Sun City Center on September 16th, 2026.

Ralph was born to the late Ralph C. Ricker Sr. and Edith Ricker in 1932 in Mayard, Massachusetts. After graduating high school, he joined the Navy where he fulfilled his duty to serve his country. After the Navy, Ralph pursued his education where he earned an associates degree in aerospace and worked as an electronic technician for GM, and at one point even NASA. 

Ralph moved to Arcadia, Florida in 1987 where he loved spending time outdoors. He particularly enjoyed playing golf whenever he could, but his true passion was running. Ralph regularly ran marathons for fun, sport, and charity and he continued to run well past his 90th birthday. 

Ralph is preceded in death by his wife; his father, Ralph C. Ricker Sr.; his mother, Edith Ricker; his son, Daniel Thomas Ricker; his daughters, Edith Ricker and Cynthia Becker; and his many brothers and sisters.

Ralph is survived by his children, Michael David Ricker, Laurie Lynn Melanie Ricker, Neil Matthew Ricker, Georgia Beres, and James Charles Ricker; along with his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

The family will be holding private services to reunite Ralph with his late wife. He will be remembered for his resilience, sportsmanship and zest he had for life.
