Ralph E. Cutchen "Papa" 90, of Arcadia, Florida passed away peacefully on April 29th, 2026, in Highlands County, FL. Born on January 9th, 1936, in Frostproof, FL to the late J.D Cutchen and Clyde Ford Cutchen. Ralph was a man of God and was a member of the Sandy Baptist Church for many years. He served in the Army in Germany. He was a well-known cowboy as most of his days were spent on the back of a horse, working cows. He most enjoyed his family, friends, fishing, hunting, and ranching.
Ralph is survived by his brother: Paul (Marion) Cutchen; Two daughters: Margaret Goodwyn and Rene Fennell; Daughter n Law: Kay Hampton; Grandchildren: Shawn Hampton, Brittany (Brett Johnson), Daylon (Jesse) Bowes, Dylan McCall, and Karson Keene; Great grandchildren: Clayton (Julia) Owens, Trinty and Larit Vansickle, Kendal Spiller, Joseph and Henry Hampton, and Bryson Bowes; Great – great grandchildren: Waylon Owens, and Alani Apolinar along with many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends who loved him dearly.
Ralph is proceeded in death by his wife: Gladys Hampton Cutchen; his son: Joseph L. Hampton; Sister: Jean Griffin, along with two grandchildren: Justin Scott and Miranda Vansickle, and great granddaughter: Addison.
He was a loving husband, dad, uncle and was papa Ralph to many. He loved life and never met a stranger.
Graveside services will be held at New Zion Baptist Church in Ona Fl, Saturday May 9th, 2026, at 11:00AM with Pastor Skipper Calder officiating.
