Ralbert Barfield

Ralbert William Barfield, "Rab," 83, of Arcadia, Florida passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026. Born on July 17, 1943, to the late Ralbert and Pauline Palmer Barfield. He was a man of the Southern Baptist faith and a proud member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, and the Eagles club. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and cheering on his favorite football teams, the Florida Gators and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A true craftsman when it came to welding, there will never be a comparison to the magic he could perform with a welding torch. His dedication to his trade was matched by his personality; known for his stubborn nature, he also had a kind heart and a warm spirit that touched those around him. He will always be remembered for his trademark smile, which could light up a room and bring joy to those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughter, Paula (Barfield) Condon (Bryan Burdett); sister, Jessie Barfield; and the mother of his children, Fonda (Waters) McKibben, along with many extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Brian Wade Barfield; wife, Glenda Barfield; and sister, Mary Barfield Anderson.
