Rafael Rodriguez Sr., age 73 passed away May 11, 2011 in Arcadia, FL. Rafael was born in Michoacan, Mexico June 23, 1937. He moved to Arcadia in 1987 from Winter Gardens, FL. in 1987. Rafael worked in the lawn maintenance business. He enjoyed gardening. He would supply his family with fresh vegetables from the garden that he had planted. He enjoyed family cook-outs and watching the kids play soccer. He was of the catholic faith. Rafael is survived by four sons; Jorge L. (Lora) Rodriguez, Rafael (Angelica) Rodriguez, JR., Juan (Claudia) Rodriguez, all of Arcadia, FL, two daughters; Rosalina (Eduardo) Cisneros, Arcadia, FL and Ana Rodriguez, Sebring, FL. one brother; Jose Rodriguez, CA, five sisters; Enedina Torres, Jesus Barrigan, and Venita Barajas all of Mexico, and Teresa Aguilar and Rosa Aguilar both of Georgia, and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Magdalena in 1995 and his parents Vidal and Soledad Rodriguez. Visitation will be conducted from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00AM, Monday, May 16, 2011 at St. Paul s Catholic Church, Arcadia, FL.
