Priscilla Joanne Cline was called home to our Lord and Savior on Saturday,
November 13, 2021. Joanne was born in Punta Gorda, Florida on February 12, 1957
to the late Joseph and Sue Patton. She was a lifelong resident of Arcadia and a
DeSoto County High School Graduate, Class of 1975. She was employed by the
Department Of Children and Families as a supervised visitation specialist. She was
fortunate enough to retire and stay home to care for her grandchildren and many
other children, all whom she loved dearly.
Joanne had many interests and passions in life such as fishing, cooking, gardening
and playing Bingo. She would most certainly tell you without a shadow of doubt,
that her truest love and crowning achievements would be her daughters and
grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy than being a Mimi. She was always
there for them, from birth to ballgames to pageants. They all knew Mimi was their
biggest fan and knew she loved them to the moon and back.
She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was always caring, kind and full of life.
Joanne is survived by her daughters, Leslie Johnson (Kenneth), Lindsey Wooten
(Jake), and Megan Malone. Her beloved grandchildren are Alexis Johnson, Trenton
and Kiptyn Alley, Case and Kali Wooten, and Kaydence McCall. Her sister, Kathy
McKinney (Rue) and a niece, Pamela Cheezan (Johnny).
A Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 – 11:00 AM, at
North Hillsborough Baptist Church, located at 253 North Hillsborough Avenue,
Arcadia, FL 34266
